Plava Laguna has successfully started the certification process, which will eventually include all of its 30-plus facilities. All facilities will be certified in line with the requirements of the SAFEGUARD risk prevention and health protection program. Plava Laguna has thus joined a select group of international businesses that have used the program to reinforce their own responsibility and commitment to protecting the health of their guests, employees, and other stakeholders during this ongoing pandemic.
The purpose of the Bureau Veritas SAFEGUARD program is the provision of independent audits to check and control whether all necessary health, safety and hygiene standards have been established. The SAFEGUARD program includes all the requirements that are necessary for compliance with hygiene practices, social distancing, and all other government recommendations and relevant regulations applicable at the time of the audits for controlling the risk of COVID-19 infection.
